Playboy Community Takes Off in Sim Racing

Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, sim racing has evolved from just a game into a full-fledged sport, experiencing tremendous growth. This surge is not only seen in the number of players but also significantly in the audience of content consumers who watch a variety of races on platforms like Twitch and YouTube. Most car manufacturers now have their own factory racing teams in sim racing, recognizing the immense advertising and brand recognition value achieved with relatively low investment.

Recognizing this potential, the Playboy Community has also embarked on its sim racing journey. In October last year, we founded our own racing team, the PCR – Playboy Community Racing Team. Since the end of last year, the team has been successfully competing in several racing series and is currently expanding. We now have four drivers representing the PCR team in various leagues and endurance races.

Moreover, we are actively working on launching our own league/championship, the PCM – Playboy Community Masters, which will be starting soon. We believe that through our presence in WEB2 gaming and sim racing, we can introduce participants and content consumers to WEB3 and our NFTs, raising awareness and interest. For WEB3 to grow, it needs to present itself positively in WEB2.

Stay tuned for more updates and join us in this exciting journey as we blend the worlds of sim racing and WEB3!
